Radisson Hotel Group Strengthens Middle East Presence with Major Expansion Milestones

Radisson Hotel Group, a global leader in the hospitality industry, has announced significant growth milestones in the Middle East during this year’s Future Hospitality Summit. With 58 properties in operation and 30 under development, the Group is rapidly expanding its regional footprint. To support this growth, the Group has appointed Ayman Ezzeddine as Director of Development for the Middle East, North-East Africa, and Pakistan.

Expanding in Saudi Arabia
The Group continues its aggressive expansion in Saudi Arabia with new signings in key cities, including Al Ahsa, Hail, and Madinah, alongside a third Radisson Collection property in Riyadh. Currently operating 29 hotels and developing 17 more, Radisson Hotel Group aims to reach 100 properties in Saudi Arabia by 2030. These expansions align with Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on economic diversification and tourism development.

Strengthening the Portfolio in Jordan and the Levant
Radisson Hotel Group has also strengthened its presence in Jordan, with the signings of Radisson Collection Residence, Amman Abdoun, and Radisson RED Amman Downtown, both set to open in 2028. These properties will elevate the Group's portfolio in the Levant, bringing a mix of luxury and lifestyle experiences to Amman.

Growing Regional Portfolio
The Group now operates 58 properties with 12,704 keys across the Middle East, and has an additional 30 properties with 5,107 keys under development. Recent openings include Radisson Hotel & Residence Riyadh Olaya and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in Makkah. Upcoming openings are planned in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Kuwait.

Leadership Strengthening
The recent appointment of Ayman Ezzeddine as Director of Development will be instrumental in accelerating growth in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt. Ayman's leadership is expected to help expand Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio while enhancing its contribution to the region’s economic growth.

Global Growth and New Lifestyle Brands
Radisson Hotel Group’s global expansion saw over 130 new signings and openings in the first half of 2024, solidifying its leadership in EMEA and APAC regions. The Group is also advancing its lifestyle offerings with plans to introduce the art’otel and Prize by Radisson brands to the Middle East. These brands focus on providing culturally immersive environments and value-conscious experiences.
