According to a recent report by William Russell, Dubai ranked seventh globally in its 2026 list of the world’s most welcoming cities for expatriates and newcomers. The ranking assessed leading global cities based on several indicators, including expatriate experiences, migrant population size, employment rates among foreign-born residents, public attitudes towards migrants, safety standards and visa accessibility.
