Khalifa Fund, NXN Partner to Strengthen Logistics Support for Emirati Enterprises
Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Network for Logistics (NXN), a 7X company, to provide integrated logistics solutions that support Emirati enterprises and help them expand into local and regional markets.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 22nd Liwa Date Festival 2026 and aims to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by improving access to efficient shipping, delivery and logistics services.
The partnership aligns with Khalifa Fund’s strategy to build an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem by expanding strategic partnerships and delivering value-added services that support businesses throughout their growth journey. It also supports Abu Dhabi’s economic development goals by strengthening the role of SMEs in the national economy.
Through the collaboration, NXN will leverage its nationwide logistics network and integrated service portfolio to help Emirati businesses streamline shipping and delivery operations while expanding their reach across the UAE and regional markets.
Commenting on the partnership, H.E. Khalifa Saeed Al Kuwaiti, Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Sector at Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, said logistics services play a critical role in the growth and expansion of SMEs.
"Through our collaboration with NXN, we are providing entrepreneurs with integrated shipping, delivery and cash-on-delivery solutions that improve operational efficiency and expand market access across the UAE and the wider region. This partnership reflects Khalifa Fund’s commitment to building a comprehensive entrepreneurship ecosystem that combines financing, capacity building, strategic partnerships and market access, enabling Emirati enterprises to grow with confidence," he said.
Abdulaziz Alhammadi, General Manager of NXN, said supporting SMEs and entrepreneurs remains a strategic priority for the company, reflecting their role in driving economic growth and diversification.
"This partnership demonstrates our commitment to leveraging our nationwide logistics network and integrated capabilities to help Emirati businesses operate more efficiently and expand into new markets. We are proud to partner with Khalifa Fund in advancing a shared vision of empowering entrepreneurship across the UAE by providing practical solutions that support the sustainable growth and long-term success of national enterprises," he said.
Under the agreement, Khalifa Fund members will gain access to a comprehensive suite of logistics services, including express delivery across the UAE, reverse pickup services, express shipping to GCC countries, cash-on-delivery solutions and access to NXN’s Waslah platform, which offers shipment tracking and reporting capabilities.
The collaboration also provides nationwide logistics coverage, including Al Ain and key areas across the Al Dhafra Region, supported by defined service standards, performance monitoring mechanisms and preferential shipping rates. These services are designed to improve logistics efficiency and support the operational growth of entrepreneurs and SMEs.
The signing of the MoU forms part of Khalifa Fund’s participation in the Liwa Date Festival 2026, where the Fund is supporting the participation of 13 national enterprises. The initiative reflects the Fund’s continued commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, fostering strategic partnerships and promoting the sustainable growth of Emirati businesses, while reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading hub for entrepreneurship, innovation and economic development.
