Bridgestone MEA Launches TURANZA 6α and ALENZA LX200 Premium Tyres with ENLITEN™ Technology
Bridgestone Middle East & Africa (MEA) has expanded its premium tyre portfolio with the launch of the TURANZA 6α and ALENZA LX200, two new tyres powered by the company's ENLITEN™ technology. The products were unveiled during a regional launch event in Tbilisi, Georgia, attended by partners and customers from six countries across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.
The launch reflects Bridgestone's continued focus on innovation, safety, comfort, performance and sustainability, while addressing the evolving needs of passenger car and SUV drivers across the region.
Regional Launch Strengthens Bridgestone's CIS Presence
The launch event brought together Bridgestone MEA's regional partners, including Tegeta Motors, MLG, Armoni, and Berdimuradov, reinforcing the company's commitment to expanding its footprint across the CIS market.
According to Bridgestone, the introduction of the two premium tyres supports its strategy of delivering advanced mobility solutions tailored to regional driving conditions and customer expectations.
TURANZA 6α Focuses on Comfort, Safety and Efficiency
Powered by ENLITEN™ technology, the TURANZA 6α has been developed following extensive consumer research, with a focus on three key priorities for drivers: ride comfort, reduced road noise, and wet-weather performance.
Compared with its predecessor, the TURANZA T005A, the new tyre delivers:
- 8% improvement in ride comfort
- 8% reduction in road noise
- 14% better wet grip
- 15% longer wear life
- 15% lower rolling resistance
- 14% improvement in fuel efficiency
The tyre is also engineered to support electric vehicles (EVs) by handling the additional weight and instant torque associated with EV powertrains while helping extend driving range.
Additional features include a redesigned tyre profile, an advanced tread pattern and Nano Pro-Tech technology to improve handling, efficiency and all-weather performance.
ALENZA LX200 Designed for Premium SUVs and EVs
The ALENZA LX200, also developed using ENLITEN™ technology, has been engineered specifically for SUVs and electric vehicles, offering enhanced comfort and driving performance.
Compared with its predecessor, the tyre provides:
- 26% improvement in ride comfort
- 11% reduction in road noise
- 11% increase in wear life
- 5% improvement in fuel efficiency
- 4% better wet-weather grip
The company said the tyre combines responsive handling with long-lasting durability, delivering the premium driving experience expected by SUV owners.
Broader Size Availability
The TURANZA 6α is available in 64 sizes, covering 15-inch to 20-inch wheel diameters.
Meanwhile, the ALENZA LX200 is offered in sizes ranging from 17-inch to 22-inch, providing compatibility across a broad range of premium passenger vehicles and SUVs.
Focus on Sustainability
Bridgestone highlighted sustainability as a key feature of the new tyre range.
According to the company, the TURANZA 6α delivers:
- 16% reduction in CO₂ emissions during production
- 13% reduction in emissions during use compared with its predecessor
- Lower rolling resistance and lighter construction to improve resource efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
