Dubai's sneaker enthusiasts and fashion lovers will have the opportunity to explore wearable art as Design Dome hosts a three-day Bespoke Sneaker Fair at City Walk from July 24 to 26, 2026. The free event will showcase hand-painted, custom-designed sneakers by UAE-based artist and designer Diviya Tilani, offering visitors the chance to purchase exclusive creations or transform their own footwear into one-of-a-kind pieces.

The event will run on Friday, July 24, from 7pm to 10pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, July 25–26, from 11am to 8pm.

Custom Sneaker Designs Take Centre Stage

The fair will feature a curated collection of bespoke sneakers that blend art, fashion and personal expression. Visitors can browse ready-made designs or bring their own sneakers for customisation, with prices for personalised artwork starting from AED200.

Ready-to-wear hand-painted sneakers available at the exhibition will range between AED650 and AED1,350, depending on the complexity of the artwork and embellishments.

Celebrating Creativity Through Wearable Art

At the heart of the exhibition is Diviya Tilani, a Dubai-based artist, designer and co-founder of Design Dome, whose work transforms ordinary sneakers into artistic statement pieces.

Her collection incorporates UAE-inspired themes, bold contemporary artwork and subtle Central Asian influences, including selected designs inspired by Kazakhstan. Many of the creations feature intricate handcrafted details such as weaving, lace embellishments, sequins, decorative threads and rope work, ensuring that every pair is unique.

Tilani said sneakers have evolved beyond their sporting origins and now serve as an extension of individual personality and style.

Inspired by Dubai's Culture and Lifestyle

Among the highlights of the collection are designs featuring camel silhouettes against desert sunsets, celebrating the UAE's cultural identity, alongside playful artistic concepts inspired by popular Dubai dining destinations such as Allo Beirut and Brass Monkey, demonstrating the potential for creative brand collaborations.

Visitors seeking a fully personalised design can also book a consultation to commission bespoke sneakers tailored to their own ideas and preferences.

Customisation Available On-Site

Depending on the complexity of the requested artwork, customised sneakers may be completed during the event. More intricate designs may require customers to collect their finished footwear within five days.

The event aims to celebrate individuality by encouraging visitors to view footwear as a creative expression rather than simply a fashion accessory.
