Mohammed bin Rashid Attends GDMO’s Annual Ramadan Media Gathering
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the Government of Dubai Media Office’s (GDMO) annual Ramadan media gathering. The event brought together prominent media figures, heads of local and international media outlets, and key government officials to discuss the evolving role of media in shaping society.
His Highness emphasized the media's vital role in fostering stable and prosperous societies by upholding truth, accuracy, and objectivity. He underscored the need to train a new generation of Emirati media professionals who can adapt to global trends while setting new industry benchmarks.
Addressing attendees, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted how the UAE media has documented the nation’s development over the past five decades, contributing to the country’s global recognition. He urged media leaders to continuously advance their institutions through technology, talent development, and innovation.
