Ministry of Economy and Tourism Signs MoU with TRUXX to Advance Digital Logistics Innovation
The Ministry of Economy and Tourism has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TRUXX, a UAE-based digital logistics solutions company, to strengthen cooperation in innovation, advanced digital technologies, and smart logistics solutions.
The agreement was signed during the Make it in the Emirates 2026 exhibition, held from 4 to 7 May in Abu Dhabi.
The MoU was signed by Abdullah Al Saleh and Khadem Almheiri in the presence of Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri.
Supporting the UAE’s Innovation Economy
The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in areas including:
- Advanced digital solutions
- Innovation-driven logistics systems
- Training and capacity-building programmes
- Joint projects and initiatives
- Knowledge and expertise exchange
The agreement aligns with the Ministry’s strategy to support innovative business models and accelerate the growth of sectors linked to the UAE’s new economy vision.
TRUXX is among the companies featured in the UAE Future 50 initiative, launched by the Ministry in collaboration with the Government Development and the Future Office to support high-growth national companies.
Enhancing Logistics and Trade Efficiency
Abdullah Al Saleh said the partnership reflects the Ministry’s commitment to collaborating with innovative national companies to strengthen the competitiveness of the UAE economy through advanced technologies and digital transformation.
Meanwhile, Khadem Almheiri described the agreement as a significant milestone in supporting a more transparent, digitally enabled, and reliable logistics ecosystem in the UAE.
He noted that TRUXX aims to contribute to:
- Improved transparency in land transport pricing
- Easier access to trusted logistics service providers
- Enhanced digital movement of goods and containers
- Greater continuity in trade flows across the UAE
Strengthening Public-Private Partnerships
The MoU also focuses on enhancing public-private sector collaboration through:
- Joint studies and research initiatives
- Exchange of data and best practices
- Hosting events, workshops, and conferences
- Coordinating local and international delegation visits
Officials say the agreement will help improve the business environment, strengthen logistics sector efficiency, and support the UAE’s ambition to become a global hub for advanced trade and supply chain solutions.
Driving the UAE’s Digital Transformation
Industry experts note that digital logistics and smart supply chain technologies are becoming increasingly important as the UAE continues investing in industrial growth, trade infrastructure, and innovation-led economic diversification.
The collaboration between the Ministry and TRUXX is expected to support broader efforts to modernize logistics services while advancing the country’s digital economy agenda.
