Ministry of Culture Explores Future Collaboration with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation
A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Culture, led by His Excellency Mubarak Al Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry, visited the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) to explore opportunities for collaboration in knowledge dissemination and cultural development.
The delegation was received by His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, who presented the foundation’s pioneering projects and initiatives aimed at fostering knowledge production, innovation, entrepreneurship, and human capital development. The meeting focused on MBRF’s key initiatives, including the Digital Knowledge Hub and Bil Arabi initiative, which seek to empower society through knowledge-sharing and Arabic language promotion.
The Ministry’s delegation also shared insights into its ongoing projects, engaging in discussions on best practices and potential cooperation. Areas of collaboration explored included the Reading Index Project, developed in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and joint efforts for National Reading Month. These initiatives align with the UAE’s strategic goals to enhance knowledge dissemination and Arabic content quality.
The meeting reaffirmed both entities' commitment to fostering high-impact partnerships, further solidifying the UAE’s position as a global hub for knowledge, culture, and innovation.
