EY Academy marks milestone in Saudi Arabia’s talent transformation, training 200+ professionals
EY Academy has announced a major milestone in its contribution to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Saudization agenda, with more than 214 Saudi professionals trained across 11 specialized programs since its launch.
The announcement comes shortly after the Kingdom celebrated its National Day, underscoring EY Academy’s growing role in accelerating workforce readiness and leadership development. Through partnerships with leading institutions and organizations, the academy has delivered impactful training in areas such as accounting, auditing, sustainability, finance, and leadership. Four major organizations have already engaged with EY Academy’s programs to strengthen national talent pipelines.
To align with Saudi Arabia’s national priorities, EY KSA has introduced several initiatives that expand career pathways for local professionals. These include:
-
Partnering with Altamayyuz Academy to train Saudi nationals through internships, with a focus on transitioning to full-time employment.
-
Collaborating with MISK to provide training opportunities and career development for Saudi youth.
-
Engaging with the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) to attract graduates returning from international universities, including targeted webinars.
-
Hosting workshops and university programs to raise awareness of career opportunities at EY.
EY has also introduced flagship initiatives such as the Audit Bootcamp in Riyadh and Dubai, aimed at developing the next generation of Saudi and Emirati talent. Specialized programs in tax, sustainability, and leadership have provided both internal and external participants with practical training that includes case studies, interviews, and presentations.
The MENA Female Nationals Competition has been another highlight, showcasing exceptional female professionals and offering winners exposure to global career opportunities within EY.
Commenting on the progress, Fazeela Gopalani, EY MENA Academy Leader, said:
“Saudi Arabia’s vision for the future is rooted in the strength of its people. At EY Academy, we are proud to play a role in empowering Saudi nationals with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to lead in a digital, sustainable, and globally connected economy. Training more than 200 professionals is just the beginning. Our commitment is to continue building pathways that elevate talent and transform leaders for the Kingdom’s future.”
The achievements reflect EY Academy’s ethos of Excellence, Innovation, and Empowerment, combining global expertise with local relevance.
