Ghassan Aboud Automotive Partners with IVECO to Expand Commercial Vehicle Presence in Syria

Ghassan Aboud Automotive, a subsidiary of Ghassan Aboud Holding, has signed a strategic distribution agreement with IVECO to introduce the global commercial vehicle manufacturer's products and mobility solutions to the Syrian market, supporting the country's reconstruction and long-term economic development.

Under the agreement, Grand Auto & Machinery Co. (GAMCO), the commercial vehicles, construction machinery, and industrial solutions arm of Ghassan Aboud Automotive, will serve as the official distributor of IVECO commercial vehicles in Syria. The company will oversee sales, service, and aftersales operations across the country.

The partnership aims to provide businesses in Syria with access to IVECO's portfolio of light, medium, and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, offering transport solutions designed to meet the evolving requirements of logistics, construction, and industrial sectors.

Beyond vehicle sales, GAMCO will establish a comprehensive aftersales network featuring modern service facilities, manufacturer-trained technicians, mobile service units, and a nationwide spare parts distribution system. The initiative is expected to improve fleet uptime, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver long-term value to commercial customers.

Commenting on the partnership, Maher Aboud, Group CEO of Ghassan Aboud Holding, said the agreement reflects the company's commitment to supporting Syria's reconstruction by delivering world-class commercial vehicles and aftersales services that strengthen industries and improve business productivity.

The dealership will offer integrated mobility solutions backed by comprehensive customer support, reinforcing GAMCO's growing portfolio of international automotive and industrial brands.
