UAE-Born Coffee Planet Expands Regional Presence Through Partnerships with IKEA, Emarat and Union Coop

Coffee Planet, one of the GCC's leading integrated coffee companies, has announced major strategic partnerships with IKEA operated by Al-Futtaim, Emarat, and Union Coop, significantly expanding its presence across the UAE and reinforcing its position in the region's rapidly growing retail and self-service beverage market.

The new agreements represent a key milestone in the UAE-born company's growth strategy, extending its footprint across high-traffic retail, convenience, and food service locations while making its premium coffee offerings more accessible to consumers across the GCC.

Expansion Across Multiple Retail Channels

As part of its collaboration with IKEA operated by Al-Futtaim, Coffee Planet is now available at seven IKEA locations in the UAE, in addition to stores in Oman and Qatar.

The partnership includes multiple customer touchpoints, featuring:

Self-service coffee stations in IKEA food courts
Coffee and beverage offerings at snack and food kiosks
Retail sales of Coffee Planet's whole bean and ground coffee products

The collaboration is expected to expand further in the coming months with the introduction of coffee capsules and instant coffee products on IKEA retail shelves, alongside a planned expansion into IKEA Egypt.

Growing Presence at Emarat Service Stations

Coffee Planet has also strengthened its partnership with Emarat, expanding to 80 petrol station locations across the UAE.

The rollout includes self-service machines serving espresso-based coffee, tea, and matcha, supported by the company's integrated operations covering coffee machines, consumables, and supply chain management.

Later this year, the company plans to introduce a new range of iced beverages, including iced coffee and iced matcha, across Emarat locations.

Union Coop Rollout by Summer

The company's partnership with Union Coop will see branded self-service beverage units installed across 13 UAE locations by the end of the summer.

Customers will have access to a variety of hot coffee and tea beverages, further expanding Coffee Planet's reach within one of the UAE's leading retail cooperative networks.

The rollout reflects growing consumer demand for premium coffee experiences beyond traditional cafés, with convenience and self-service formats continuing to reshape the regional beverage industry.
