Among the newly opened facilities is the Al Hamidiya Main Substation 132/11 in Ajman, replacing an outdated station at a cost of AED 137 million. The Mohamed Bin Zayed Substation 33/11, serving the Local Community Residential Area, was built for AED 61 million. In Fujairah, the Al-Nujaymat Main Station has been modernized with a total investment of AED 122 million. These substations now support over 30,000 residential and commercial units combined.

In Ras Al Khaimah, the Al Ghail Pumping Station, part of the Al Ghail Distribution Center, was completed for AED 122 million, improving water distribution in regions like Sharjah and the Central Region.

Engineer Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of EtihadWE, emphasized that these projects align with the UAE’s sustainability and economic diversification goals, ensuring reliable utility services for growing populations. The facilities are remotely monitored and equipped with advanced, low-maintenance technology to optimize operational efficiency.
