Dubai South Properties has awarded a AED 150 million contract to Al Turath Al Aseel Contracting for the construction of the South Living Tower, a luxury apartment complex in the Residential District of Dubai South. The project, launched in June 2024, aims to meet the growing demand for spacious apartments in the area and comes with a flexible post-handover payment plan.

The development will consist of 209 units, ranging from studios to 3-bedroom apartments, as well as special-terraced units designed to provide a blend of indoor and outdoor living. Scheduled for completion by Q1 2027, the project will offer premium amenities such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, yoga deck, and artistically landscaped elevated gardens, providing residents with a luxurious and comfortable living environment.

Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties, commented on the increasing demand for residential apartments at Dubai South, which has surged following the announcement of new passenger terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport. "Our mandate is to contribute to the government's vision of attracting one million residents to Dubai South, and this project will help meet that goal," said Al Kindi. He expressed confidence in Al Turath Al Aseel's expertise to deliver high-quality luxury residences.

Dubai South has been enhancing the Residential District with various amenities, including public parks, sports courts, retail outlets, a hypermarket, and a public bus route connecting the area to the Expo Metro station. A GEMS Founders School has also recently opened in the district, adding to the community's appeal. Currently, the Residential District is home to over 25,000 residents, who benefit from its extensive lifestyle offerings and gated communities.
