Decision Reinforces Dubai’s Commitment to Excellence in Public Service

The Dubai government has announced the approval of Dh277 million in performance-based bonuses for civilian employees across various government entities. The initiative, directed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, underscores Dubai’s dedication to rewarding excellence in public service.

The decision was officially approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

Recognizing Government Employees' Contributions

Announcing the decision on X (formerly Twitter), Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the role of Dubai’s government workforce in the emirate’s ongoing success:

“Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, we have approved Dh277 million in performance-based bonuses for civilian employees of Dubai government entities.”

He further acknowledged the dedication and commitment of government employees, stating:

“To the Dubai Government team, your dedication and commitment have been key to Dubai’s success, continually raising the bar for excellence in government service. We are confident that with your efforts, Dubai will continue to rise on the global stage.”
