India-Cuba Business Summit Strengthens Economic, Trade, and Diplomatic Ties

Cuba's Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Eduardo Martinez Diaz, stated that Cuba and India have always supported each other in times of need and share a common vision of progress, sustainability, and inclusive development.

The India-Cuba Business Conference was successfully held in New Delhi, reinforcing the long-standing economic, trade, and diplomatic relationship between the two nations. The event, organized by the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO), served as a platform for enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring new opportunities for business collaboration.

In his keynote address, Dr. Eduardo Martinez Diaz highlighted the historical and unwavering support between India and Cuba. He stated, “Cuba and India have always stood by each other in times of need, and our countries share a vision of progress, sustainability, and inclusive development.” Stressing the importance of the conference, he noted that it would serve as a catalyst for deeper cooperation in crucial sectors such as healthcare, renewable energy, and trade. Dr. Asif Iqbal, Global President of IETO, reiterated the organization’s commitment to fostering Indo-Cuban trade relations.
