Dell Technologies and Armada Sign MoU to Expand Mobile and Edge Data Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

Dell Technologies and Armada have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on delivering containerised mobile and edge data centre solutions across Saudi Arabia.

The agreement, signed during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, establishes a strategic framework for addressing projects requiring fast and flexible access to localised computing and storage capabilities.

The MoU was signed by Mohamed Talaat, Vice President, Saudi, Egypt, North Africa & Levant (SENAL), Dell Technologies, and Rabee El Mohammadi, Vice President, Sales and Partnerships, MEA, Armada.

Dell and Armada to Combine Enterprise and Mobile Infrastructure

Under the agreement, Dell Technologies’ enterprise hardware and modern infrastructure stack is envisaged to be integrated with Armada’s specialised mobile and containerised data centre solutions.

The collaboration aims to enable high-performance infrastructure deployments for customers across the Kingdom, particularly in environments where rapid access to computing and storage resources is required.

By combining the two companies’ capabilities, the initiative is expected to support organisations seeking flexible infrastructure solutions closer to operational sites and data-generation points.

Focus on Energy, Telecom and Manufacturing Sectors

The joint initiative will target key sectors including energy, telecommunications, manufacturing and public infrastructure.

The companies will seek to expand their reach among enterprise customers through Dell Technologies’ authorised regional channel partner network.

The deployment of compute and storage capabilities closer to where data is generated is intended to support real-time Edge AI applications, strengthen data sovereignty and help maintain operational continuity in remote and resource-constrained environments.

Edge Infrastructure to Support Saudi Vision 2030

Mohamed Talaat, Vice President, Saudi, Egypt, North Africa & Levant (SENAL), Dell Technologies, described the collaboration as an important step towards expanding resilient mobile edge infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.

Armada Highlights Mission-Critical AI and Edge Applications

Rabee El Mohammadi, Vice President, Sales and Partnerships, MEA at Armada, said the MoU strengthens the company’s ability to deliver AI and edge infrastructure for mission-critical applications across Saudi Arabia.

“This strategic MoU with Dell Technologies significantly strengthens Armada’s ability to deliver mission-critical AI and edge infrastructure across Saudi Arabia,” El Mohammadi said.

He added that combining Armada’s edge platform with Dell’s technology would enable the companies to address demanding operational requirements and provide computing capabilities directly to field operations, remote assets and critical enterprise environments.

Supporting Localised Computing Across the Kingdom

The partnership is aimed at creating more flexible infrastructure options for organisations operating in locations where conventional data centre deployments may be challenging or where localised computing capabilities are needed.

Through containerised mobile data centre solutions, Dell Technologies and Armada intend to support the Kingdom’s evolving requirements for edge computing, AI and data infrastructure while helping enterprises maintain operational continuity across diverse environments.
