The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has reinforced its leadership in tourism innovation by securing four prestigious accolades at the 2025 Middle East and North Africa Stevie Awards. The department received two gold, one silver, and one bronze award in recognition of its commitment to excellence and pioneering initiatives that enhance the emirate’s tourism sector.

The awards were presented during a gala ceremony held in Ras Al Khaimah on February 22, 2025. ATDD distinguished itself through its remarkable contributions to institutional development and the advancement of Ajman’s tourism industry.

H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Tourism Development Department, expressed his pride in this achievement, stating: “This milestone reflects our dedication to fostering innovation across all aspects of our operations and strengthening Ajman’s tourism sector. These esteemed accolades motivate us to continue developing innovative projects that align with sustainable development goals, serve the community, and enhance the tourism experience in Ajman and the UAE.”

ATDD’s first gold award was in the category of ‘Excellence in Innovation in Consumer Product and Services Industries’ for its ‘Genuine Tourism Experience Design’ initiative. The second gold was awarded for ‘Innovation in Human Resource Management Planning and Practice’ in recognition of its ‘Human Resources Initiatives for Creating a Happy Work Environment’ project.

The department also received a silver award in the ‘Most Innovative Community Impact’ category for the ‘Unlimited Talents: You Are the Blessing’ initiative, which promotes cultural, artistic, and innovative engagement among seniors. Additionally, ATDD earned a bronze award for ‘Innovation in Brand Development’ for its ‘Marketing in London’ initiative, which highlights Ajman’s tourism potential on an international scale.

The Stevie Awards, renowned for celebrating business excellence and innovation across 18 countries in the MENA region, is a globally respected platform that recognises outstanding achievements in various sectors. The program includes initiatives such as the International Business Awards (IBA), which has been honouring innovation and leadership in business for over 23 years.

ATDD’s latest success at the Stevie Awards further cements its position as a key player in shaping the future of Ajman’s tourism industry and its dedication to driving continuous innovation.
