UAE and Eswatini Sign Visa-Free Travel Agreement
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Eswatini have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will allow visa-free travel for citizens of both countries, marking a significant step toward enhancing diplomatic and economic cooperation.
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan and Princess Lindiwe.
The new arrangement aims to simplify travel procedures, facilitate greater people-to-people exchanges, and strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations. It is also expected to support broader collaboration across a range of sectors, including trade, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange.
Officials from both countries highlighted that the agreement reflects their shared commitment to deepening cooperation and creating new opportunities for engagement between citizens, businesses, and institutions.
The visa waiver agreement is expected to make travel more convenient for government officials, business leaders, tourists, and residents, further reinforcing the growing relationship between the UAE and Eswatini.
The move aligns with the UAE’s ongoing efforts to expand its international partnerships and promote global connectivity through enhanced travel and diplomatic agreements.
