Saudi German Hospital Dammam’s CardioScience Department Achieves Milestones in Advanced Cardiac Procedures
The CardioScience Department at Saudi German Hospital (SGH) Dammam has reached significant milestones in advanced cardiac care, marking a new era in the hospital’s commitment to excellence. Since the beginning of 2024, the department has successfully performed a series of cutting-edge procedures, including a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and the Ampella-guided high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The department has also initiated and successfully completed cryoablations for atrial fibrillation.
These achievements highlight the department's expertise and innovation under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Shahtout, Dr. Hamed Al Ghamdi, and Dr. Rami Abu Raad. Their guidance has been pivotal in driving these advancements, reflecting the hospital’s ethos of "Caring Like Family."
