Moldovan Ambassador in Abu Dhabi Hosts Reception to Celebrate National Day
His Excellency Anatol Vangheli, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the United Arab Emirates, hosted a reception in celebration of his country’s National Day, reaffirming Moldova’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with the UAE.
The event, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Abu Dhabi, was attended by Omar Rashid Al Neyadi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with a number of officials, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps, and representatives of the Moldovan community residing in the Emirates.
In his address, Ambassador Vangheli praised the enduring friendship and cooperation between Moldova and the UAE, emphasizing the importance of expanding economic, cultural, and investment partnerships.
“The UAE is a key and strategic partner for Moldova in the region,” he said. “Our nations share deep-rooted ties built on mutual respect, and we are committed to further enhancing cooperation in ways that benefit both our peoples.”
The ambassador also noted the growing engagement between the two countries’ leaderships, which continues to open new avenues for collaboration in trade, investment, and development.
The evening served as a platform for celebrating Moldovan culture and for reinforcing the spirit of friendship that underpins the diplomatic relationship between Moldova and the UAE.
