Huawei Unveils Industry-Specific ICT Solutions at Kuwait Commercial Roadshow
Huawei, a global leader in information and communications technology (ICT), hosted its Middle East & Central Asia (ME&CA) Commercial Roadshow at the St. Regis Kuwait. The event showcased cutting-edge ICT solutions designed to meet the unique challenges of key industries in Kuwait, including education, healthcare, real estate, and finance. The roadshow also marked the launch of the HUAWEI eKit platform and the Commercial Market Growth Incentive Program for partners.
As ICT spending in Kuwait is projected to surpass $5.5 billion by 2024, according to the International Data Corporation (IDC), Huawei’s roadshow underscores the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting Kuwait's digital transformation in line with Vision 2035. This vision aims to enhance services across vital sectors through the adoption of digital technologies.
The event attracted key decision-makers from various industries, providing a platform for discussion on innovative solutions and commercial market strategies. It focused on accelerating digital transformation among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kuwait.
Jeff Zhu, CEO of Huawei Kuwait, highlighted the importance of digital transformation, stating, “It is a strategic imperative for businesses and government entities in Kuwait to embrace digital technologies to drive growth and innovation."
Huawei showcased several industry-specific solutions, including:
- Huawei Smart Education Solution: Featuring smart classroom systems, secure data centers, and advanced network infrastructure.
- Huawei Smart Healthcare Solution: Encompassing smart wards, medical imaging, and integrated hospital networks.
- Huawei Intelligent Real Estate Solution: Providing Fiber To The Office (FTTO) and intelligent office systems.
- Huawei Intelligent Finance Solution: Offering secure networks and data storage solutions.
The highlight of the roadshow was the unveiling of the HUAWEI eKit, a comprehensive platform designed to support SMEs by integrating marketing, transactions, and partner operations into one toolkit.
Huawei also reaffirmed its commitment to local initiatives, including the development of 5.5G wireless networks with stc Kuwait, establishing an AI Center of Excellence with Zain, and nurturing ICT talent through its Seeds for the Future program.
