Hilton Appoints Hendrick Calles as Cluster General Manager for Mango House Seychelles and Canopy by Hilton Seychelles
Hilton has announced the appointment of Hendrick Calles as the new Cluster General Manager for Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and Canopy by Hilton Seychelles. This appointment marks a significant milestone in Hendrick’s career as he also assumes the role of Area General Manager for Seychelles, overseeing all six Hilton properties across the country.
With over two decades of experience within Hilton, Hendrick has built a distinguished career, most recently serving as General Manager of Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa. His tenure has been characterized by strong leadership, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.
In his new role, Hendrick will be responsible for steering the strategic, operational, and commercial direction of Mango House and Canopy by Hilton Seychelles. These two resorts cater to different guest profiles—Mango House offering a luxury escape, and Canopy by Hilton providing a lifestyle-focused experience for couples, families, and adventure seekers.
“Having the opportunity to manage two distinct resorts—one focused on luxury and the other a lifestyle-driven escape—is an incredibly unique experience,” Hendrick said. “Transitioning from an adults-only resort in the north of Mahé to a dynamic cluster in the south, blending luxury and lifestyle, is both exciting and rewarding for me and my team.”
