ADCB Named UAE’s Strongest Banking Brand for Second Consecutive Year as Brand Value Rises to AED 12.3 Billion
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has been recognised as the strongest banking brand in the UAE for the second year in a row, as reported in the latest Brand Finance Banking 500 report. The bank's brand value has surged by 17%, reaching AED 12.3 billion, reflecting its growing influence in the global financial landscape.
This growth has propelled ADCB up seven places in the global banking brand rankings, now positioned at 102nd. A key contributor to this ascent is the bank’s improved brand strength score, which rose to 81.5%, earning a brand strength rating of ‘AAA-’. This performance marks ADCB as the highest-rated bank in the UAE in terms of brand strength.
ADCB’s brand value growth outpaced both the UAE banking sector’s 16% rise and the global banking industry’s 14% increase, reaffirming the bank’s role as a forward-thinking and ambitious institution in the region.
In addition to brand value metrics, Brand Finance assessed CEO impact on brand guardianship. ADCB Group CEO Ala’a Eraiqat was named one of the world’s top banking sector CEOs, ranking 12th globally and first in the UAE for brand stewardship — a title he has held for three consecutive years.
Savio D'Souza, Senior Director at Brand Finance, noted: “ADCB’s impressive rise in brand value reflects a well-executed strategy focused on innovation, customer experience, and leadership. This demonstrates ADCB’s position as a standout performer in an increasingly competitive global banking landscape.”
ADCB continues to reinforce its market position through an ambitious digital transformation strategy. The bank is integrating advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance customer personalisation and deliver a sophisticated banking experience. Its consistent recognition underscores a commitment to excellence, innovation, and a customer-first approach.
