H.E. Ali Salem Al Kaabi Highlights the Enduring Legacy of Unity and National Identity on Union Pledge Day

His Excellency Ali Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development Foundation, marked Union Pledge Day with a heartfelt statement reflecting on the significance of the occasion as a cornerstone in the UAE’s national identity and development journey.

Describing Union Pledge Day as more than a ceremonial event, H.E. Al Kaabi emphasized that it represents a symbolic reaffirmation of loyalty to the UAE’s wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He noted that the day serves as a powerful reminder of the strength, unity, and resilience that form the foundation of the nation.

“The Union Pledge Day marks a significant turning point in the evolution of our national identity,” stated H.E. Al Kaabi.

“It is a moment to renew our dedication to the founding principles set by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow founding fathers, whose sacrifices built the strong, respected nation we are proud to call home.”

He added that this national commitment is sustained today through the visionary guidance of the UAE’s leadership, which continues to inspire a path of empowerment, innovation, and sustainable development. Safeguarding the Union’s legacy, according to H.E. Al Kaabi, requires active participation from all members of society, who together must carry forward the mission of unity and progress.

H.E. Al Kaabi also acknowledged the critical role of future generations in sustaining national achievements, highlighting the importance of investing in children as the core of social and national advancement. He praised the forward-looking vision of Her Highness in this regard, underlining that cultivating future leaders is essential to guiding the nation towards new horizons of prosperity.
