Hamdan Foundation Launches Second Phase of Interviews for Distinguished Student Award Nominees 2024
The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has commenced the second phase of personal interviews for nominees of the “Distinguished Student” and “Distinguished Undergraduate University Student” Awards for the 2024 cycle. Held at the Zayed Educational Complex in Al-Mizhar, this phase sees 53 students, who have successfully met stringent criteria, moving forward in the competition.
The interviews assess candidates’ academic prowess, personal skills, and creativity. Each student undergoes a detailed evaluation of critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and leadership capabilities. This phase is conducted by expert judging panels to maintain transparency and fairness throughout the assessment process.
The selected students displayed notable dedication, preparing rigorously for the interviews and presenting their accomplishments and creative ideas. Dr. Ali Al Kaabi, General Coordinator and Head of the Arbitration Committees, emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing young talent: “The Distinguished Student category aims to identify and support innovative young minds, helping them realize their potential and pursue their dreams.”
The Hamdan Awards, founded by the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, are among the most prestigious in the educational sector, both regionally and globally. These awards, which have evolved through international collaborations, are designed to enhance educational quality and recognize outstanding talent. The assessment process, led by highly experienced professionals, adheres to global standards, continually advancing to keep pace with developments in science and technology.
