EDGE Concludes IDEX 2025 with Record-Breaking $2.9 Billion in New Sales

16 Major Contracts Awarded and 32 Strategic Agreements Signed, Launch of 46 Advanced Solutions, Including AI-Powered and Post-Quantum Capabilities

EDGE, a leading global defense and advanced technology group, has successfully concluded its participation at the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) 2025, securing new sales worth $2.9 billion (AED 10.65 billion). The group also introduced 46 cutting-edge solutions spanning air, land, sea, space, and cyber domains, further solidifying its position as a key innovator in the defense sector.

IDEX 2025, the largest edition in the event’s history, provided EDGE with an expansive platform to showcase its diverse portfolio of 218 advanced solutions, the majority of which are manufactured in the UAE. The company’s 9,000-square-meter stand attracted key stakeholders, reinforcing its commitment to global defense innovation.

Among the 16 major contracts awarded, notable deals included:

  • A €500 million agreement through MAESTRAL, a naval joint venture between EDGE and Fincantieri, for In-Service Support (ISS) of the UAE’s naval fleet.
  • A $1.18 billion contract from the UAE Ministry of Defense to supply advanced aerial munitions.
  • A $61.8 million contract from the UAE Ministry of Defense for the supply of GPS PROTECT anti-jamming systems.
