This initiative is part of the Municipality's commitment to boosting the Emirate's attractiveness by incorporating entertainment and tourism amenities.
The eight public beaches, including Khor Al-Mamzar Beach, Corniche Al-Mamzar, Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, Umm Suqeim 2, and Jebel Ali Beach, will be reserved for families during this period. Eng. Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, Director of Public Beaches and Water Canals Department at Dubai Municipality, emphasized that this move aims to manage the high influx of visitors to Dubai's beaches during Eid Al Adha, providing families a unique opportunity to enjoy the city's top tourist destinations.
To ensure safety and comfort, Dubai Municipality has deployed an integrated safety and rescue team comprising 140 highly qualified personnel, equipped with advanced logistics equipment. Additionally, a 65-member field control team will oversee beach operations during the Eid holidays, ensuring top security and safety standards for beachgoers.
Juma stated, "Dubai Municipality is committed to providing advanced levels of comfort and well-being for families, thereby improving their quality of life. In collaboration with strategic partners, we will closely monitor all operations on our beaches during the Eid Al Adha holiday."
