Dubai Parks and Resorts, Global Village Remain Closed on March 2 Amid Precautionary Measures

Two of Dubai’s most popular leisure destinations — Dubai Parks and Resorts and Global Village — will remain closed on Monday, March 2, following heightened security alerts across the UAE. The closures come as precautionary safety measures aligned with official guidance amid regional tensions.

In a post on social media, Global Village confirmed the temporary closure, stating: “For the latest information, including when we will reopen, please visit our website and social media channels.” The popular open-air attraction did not provide further details on reopening timelines.

Dubai Parks and Resorts similarly announced that its facilities would remain closed on Monday, advising visitors to check their official channels for updates. Both attractions were also closed on March 1 under similar safety advisories.

Spanning approximately 25 million square feet, Dubai Parks and Resorts includes several major attractions: Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Legoland Dubai, Legoland Water Park, Riverland Dubai, and the Lapita Hotel.

Meanwhile, the Ras Al Khaimah Police also announced the cancellation of their Ramadan Police Football Championship scheduled for Monday, reflecting ongoing precautionary measures across the country.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as security remains a top priority.
