Dubai launches first ‘work from park’ space with AC cabins, meeting rooms and café
Dubai is set to redefine flexible working with the launch of its first dedicated park-based workspace at Al Barsha Lake Park, offering residents a unique blend of nature and productivity.
Developed by Dubai Municipality in collaboration with Letswork and Amana Group, the initiative introduces a fully equipped outdoor workspace featuring air-conditioned cabins, meeting rooms and an on-site café.
The project is designed to cater to Dubai’s growing remote and hybrid workforce, allowing professionals to move away from traditional home or office settings into a more relaxed, nature-connected environment.
Modern workspace in a park setting
The facility will include four prefabricated, air-conditioned cabins arranged around a central amphitheatre-style seating area. Each cabin will feature a mezzanine level for hosting small events, while large glass panels ensure uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery.
The space will be divided into two key zones: a vibrant shared workspace with ambient music and a quieter section with private offices available for daily rental. Two meeting rooms—convertible into a larger space—will support team collaboration, while a café will provide refreshments.
Built for year-round use
Despite being located outdoors, the structures are designed as permanent installations capable of withstanding Dubai’s climate. Fully air-conditioned interiors will ensure usability during the summer, while rooftop seating will be available during cooler months.
Project developers highlighted that the design balances comfort with an immersive outdoor experience, enabling users to stay connected to nature without compromising on productivity.
Access and future expansion
Access to the workspace will be managed through memberships or day passes via the Letswork app or a physical card, with pricing expected to align with other co-working options in the city.
The modular design also allows for scalability, with authorities confirming plans to expand the concept to additional parks across Dubai in the future.
The initiative reflects a broader shift in workplace culture, as demand for flexible and experience-driven work environments continues to grow across the emirate
