Dubai Designates 5 Beaches as Family-Only for Eid Al Fitr 2026
Dubai Municipality has announced a series of family-friendly initiatives and safety measures for Eid Al Fitr 2026, including dedicating five popular beaches exclusively for families during the holiday period.
Family-Only Beaches for Eid
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, the following beaches will be designated as family-only zones throughout the Eid holidays:

Umm Suqeim 2
This includes night beaches, allowing families to enjoy extended hours in a secure and welcoming setting.
Parks and Cultural Activities
As part of the “Season of Wulfa,” several parks will host evening Eid celebrations:

Mushrif National Park, Al Mamzar Park, and Zabeel Park will feature live performances, traditional sweet-making, and giveaways on the first two days of Eid (4pm–7pm).

Nad Al Sheba Park will host a special event on the third day, including interactive workshops, cultural shows, and appearances by Modhesh and Dana.

Children’s City Dubai will organize games, competitions, and gift distributions for children.
Additionally, three large-scale Eid events will be held at community labour markets, benefiting around 30,000 workers, ensuring inclusive celebrations across society.
Major Safety and Inspection Drive
With large crowds expected, Dubai Municipality has launched a comprehensive inspection and sanitation campaign, deploying:

2,800+ personnel and 800 vehicles

Inspections across food outlets, malls, parks, and beaches

Monitoring of hotels, entertainment venues, and shisha cafés

Safety checks on swimming pools and amusement rides

Laboratory testing of henna products
Food safety remains a top priority, with over 150 food establishments already inspected, focusing on popular Eid items such as sweets, nuts, and baked goods.
Citywide Cleanliness and Monitoring
A large-scale cleanliness operation is underway, with 2,876 sanitation workers and 280 supervisors maintaining public spaces, including roads, markets, and beaches.
At Dubai’s ports, advanced digital systems are being used to track and inspect imported food, ensuring only safe products enter the market during the high-demand holiday period.

Dubai’s Eid Al Fitr 2026 plans reflect a balance of festivity, safety, and inclusivity, offering residents and visitors a wide range of activities—from beach outings and park events to cultural experiences—while maintaining strict public health and hygiene standards.
