Dubai Civil Aviation Authority to Participate in World Congress & Exhibition on Intelligent Transport Systems at Dubai World Trade Centre

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) is set to take part in the 30th edition of the World Congress & Exhibition on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), a premier global event on smart mobility and transportation digitalization. Organized by ERTICO and hosted by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai, the event will run from September 16 to 20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

During the event, the DCAA will spotlight its drone services and autonomous systems, with comprehensive visual displays of its initiatives and latest technological solutions. The Authority, responsible for regulating drone operations across Dubai, will demonstrate its efforts in coordination with other government entities, ensuring compliance with existing legislation.

H.E. Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the DCAA, emphasized: “Our participation underscores our leadership in the aviation sector and our commitment to enhancing transportation services through smart mobility trends, contributing to the local economy as outlined by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.”

Ahmad Belqaizi, Executive Director, Aviation Safety and Environment Sector at the DCAA, added: “Aviation safety and security remain our top priorities. This event allows us to share our advancements and engage with global experts to ensure Dubai remains a hub for aviation innovation.”

The DCAA’s involvement in the ITS World Congress will foster knowledge exchange with global industry leaders, reinforcing Dubai’s pivotal role in the future of transportation and aviation.
