Dubai-Based Kilimanjaro Energy Expands into China with Strategic MoU

Dubai International Chamber, under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has facilitated the expansion of Kilimanjaro Energy into China, marked by a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shenzhen-based Skyworth Photovoltaic Technology. The MoU, signed at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, aims to enhance collaboration in photovoltaic energy and energy storage for commercial and industrial projects globally.

Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of Global Markets at Dubai Chambers, highlighted the significance of this partnership: "Kilimanjaro Energy’s success in expanding into China underlines the importance of our efforts to support the growth of Dubai-based companies in promising global markets."

Ali Makki, Cofounder and Group CEO of Kilimanjaro Energy, expressed confidence in the alliance's potential to bolster capabilities and position the UAE as a global energy leader. "We look forward to the positive outcomes this partnership will bring," Makki stated.

Wanfei Qu, Skyworth Group CMO and Skyworth Solar CEO, emphasized the support Chinese technology can provide to the region's energy sector. "We are grateful to contribute to the development of green energy in the UAE and MENA region," Qu noted.

The agreement enables Kilimanjaro Energy to establish a branch in China, offering specialized advice to Chinese companies aiming to expand into Dubai and the broader region. This expansion is part of Dubai International Chamber’s ongoing efforts to foster international business relationships and support Dubai's dynamic business community.
