Dell Technologies and Ooredoo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at delivering and powering modern AI services in Qatar.

The agreement was signed by Travers Nicholas, Managing Director, North Gulf at Dell Technologies, and Hassan Ismail Al-Emadi, Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Ooredoo Qatar. The collaboration signals a strategic move to expand AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) offerings within the country.

Under the MoU, the two companies intend to make AI-as-a-Service available through Ooredoo’s Sovereign AI Cloud. Powered by Dell’s advanced infrastructure, the service is designed to provide organizations with secure, scalable, and locally governed AI capabilities. The initiative aims to support businesses across sectors in driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and accelerating digital transformation.

Ooredoo stated that the locally hosted infrastructure will ensure compliance with national data governance standards while enabling enterprises to access advanced AI tools within a secure cloud environment.

Hassan Ismail Al-Emadi, Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, said the agreement reflects the company’s commitment to delivering future-ready digital experiences. He noted that Dell’s expertise in advanced infrastructure and AI technologies will help accelerate industry-wide transformation and create measurable value for businesses and communities in Qatar.
