DataFlow Group Integrates AI-Powered Verification Into DIFC Courts’ Notary Service
DataFlow Group has announced the integration of AI-powered verification solutions into the newly established Notary Service of the DIFC Courts, marking a significant advancement in the UAE’s digital legal infrastructure.
The Notary Service was formally introduced under Dubai Law No. (2) of 2025, issued by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The framework defines the jurisdiction of DIFC Courts and reinforces their role in delivering independent and internationally aligned legal services.
Further regulatory support came through Resolution No. (4) of 2025, approved by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The resolution enables Notary Officers to administer oaths, witness declarations, and certify documents, strengthening the legal framework for authentication and attestation services.
The newly launched Notary Service is the first of its kind in the UAE to cater specifically to English-language documents. It offers three access channels: a self-service digital platform, a live virtual system, and in-person services, enhancing accessibility for businesses and individuals.
Eligible documents for notarisation include affidavits, commercial agreements, powers of attorney, identity documents, and civil records such as birth and marriage certificates.
At the core of this initiative are DataFlow’s advanced technologies. The AI Document Tampering Detection system uses artificial intelligence to identify potential forgery or manipulation within seconds, while Primary Source Verification (PSV) ensures document authenticity by directly validating information with issuing authorities.
Justice Omar Al Mheiri, Director of DIFC Courts, stated that the integration reflects a commitment to delivering secure, efficient, and legally recognised services, aligned with Dubai’s vision for smart governance. He emphasized that the technology ensures all processed documents meet the highest standards of authenticity.
Sunil Kumar, CEO of DataFlow Group, highlighted that combining AI-driven detection with source verification allows documents to be assessed based on origin rather than appearance, reinforcing trust in public services.
The development builds on the collaboration between DataFlow Group and DIFC Courts, initially announced during GITEX Global 2024. It underscores the UAE’s ongoing efforts to leverage innovation in strengthening legal systems, regulatory efficiency, and public trust.
This milestone further positions the UAE as a global leader in digital governance and secure legal services, setting new benchmarks for the integration of technology within judicial frameworks.
