ADPIC Unveils Expanded Agenda for Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit 2026

Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre has unveiled the programme for the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit, bringing together senior government officials and industry leaders to outline a major agenda focused on the future of urban development, infrastructure delivery, and smart city transformation.

Set to take place from 12 to 14 May 2026 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre International Convention Centre, the summit is expected to attract more than 7,000 industry professionals, over 100 speakers, and 75 exhibitors representing the full infrastructure value chain.

Infrastructure at the Core of Abu Dhabi’s Growth

The summit comes as ADPIC oversees a capital project pipeline exceeding AED 200 billion, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s commitment to sustainable, future-ready urban development.

The pre-summit press conference featured senior representatives from government and leading companies, including Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Maysarah Mahmoud Eid, alongside executives from Modon Holding, Aldar Properties, Bloom Holding, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.

Speaking at the event, Al Shorafa said global cities are facing increasing pressure from population growth, climate challenges, and rising expectations around urban systems, emphasizing that Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure strategy is rooted in responsible, people-centred development.

Meanwhile, Maysarah Mahmoud Eid noted that ADIS was created to move beyond discussion and accelerate tangible project delivery, with this year’s edition expected to include major agreements, investment commitments, and infrastructure milestones.

Theme Focuses on Future Cities

Held under the theme “The Urban Evolution: Rethinking Cities, Redefining How We Live,” the summit will cover a broad range of topics including:

  • Smart infrastructure
  • Construction innovation
  • Future mobility
  • Circular construction
  • Project financing
  • Urban planning and sustainability

The programme will feature high-level participation from government leaders, infrastructure experts, developers, investors, and technology companies shaping the next generation of cities.

Global Industry Participation

ADIS 2026 will host a diverse group of international and regional organisations, including Etihad Rail, Schneider Electric, Trojan Construction Group, Orascom Construction, and China Harbour Engineering Company.

In a first for the summit, the International Federation of Consulting Engineers will host dedicated sessions focused on procurement, contract management, and dispute avoidance in live infrastructure projects.

Enhanced Collaboration and Professional Development

The summit will also introduce invite-only leadership roundtables held under the Chatham House Rule, alongside dedicated B2B matchmaking sessions to facilitate direct business engagement between partners and investors.

Additionally, all sessions will carry accreditation from the CPD Standards Office, enabling participants to earn internationally recognised Continuing Professional Development credits.

Driving Abu Dhabi’s Global Infrastructure Vision

Officials say ADIS 2026 reflects Abu Dhabi’s ambition to position itself as a global leader in infrastructure innovation by bringing together government vision, private-sector expertise, and international collaboration under one platform.

The summit is expected to play a key role in shaping long-term urban development strategies while strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position on the global infrastructure stage.
