UAE tops global rankings in customer service and wins Gold Award for express mail services
The United Arab Emirates has achieved a new milestone in the global logistics sector, with Emirates Post securing first place worldwide in the Customer Service category for express mail services. The nation also received the prestigious Gold Performance Award for 2024, granted by the Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) Express Mail Service Cooperative (EMS).
The awards were presented during the official meeting ahead of the 28th Universal Postal Congress – Dubai 2025, which the UAE is hosting from September 8 to 19. The recognition underscores the country’s commitment to excellence, efficiency, and innovation in postal and logistics services.
The Gold Performance Award followed an extensive evaluation of Emirates Post’s operational efficiency across multiple areas, including international networks, customer satisfaction, responsiveness, and adherence to delivery schedules. Results showed consistently high performance, with indicators ranging between 95 and 98 per cent across all service phases—from shipment receipt to post-delivery support.
Earning first place in the Customer Service category highlights the UAE’s success in enhancing digital customer experience and developing smart, responsive service channels. This achievement reflects the country’s broader vision to maintain leadership in global logistics and postal innovation.
