Times Square Bomber - On the No Fly List, One Way Ticket, Cash, No Bags - Yet Boards Dubai City Aircraft!

Will the never-criticize-Obama media provide his Homeland Protection a hand down this 3rd near-miss (shoe bomber, underwear bomber, Times Square bomber)? The mistakes of rank - and shockingly harmful - inexperience are absolutely magnificent: named on the "No-Fly" listing; purchased a one-way ticket to Dubai with money, having no luggage - all such indication are neglected and he's enabled to board the aircraft! One wonders exactly what words "homeland security" mean to Administrator Janet Napolitano? Unlike political statements and write-ups in the uncritical press that "The system worked", America, so far, appears to have actually been given an inordinate amount of "just foolish good luck" - that here-to-fore, the lucky ineptness of these potential awesomes has actually saved numerous American lives. Will our good luck abandon the next effort? Will there be a real query, not a cover-up or mis-information (by any media electrical outlet besides Fox News) - the problem seems to have already been gone down?

A key concern: Did the White House leak information to its supporting media that signaled the bomber that his identity was understood (seemingly potential due to his desperate effort to run away the nation)? That cost was made by a mad (Republican) Legislator, and if so, it would be a most-serious situation of endangering America - of assisting an admitted-enemy of our nation. (If such fee had been made against a Shrub administration, the challenge itself would certainly be headlined and be the lead news story anywhere in journalism and on TELEVISION for weeks, with Democrats yelling for scalps. Will there be a real questions, or will all of it be brushed up under the carpet?

How especially did this extraordinary sequence of harmful incompetency come to pass: a person who is noted on the "No Fly" checklist - paying cash - for a one-way ticket to Dubai - without luggage - and is permitted to board the airplane? Simply where and how in the process did the faults occur? What companies and individuals created such a harmful lapse in security? Luckily someone was completely "on the ball" to finally sharp authorities and get rid of Mr. Shahzad from the aircraft - who was this notifying hero in the midst of such harmful and outright incompetency?

With constant problem concerning the "rights" of self-admitted opponents of the U, S., Mr. Shahzad was quickly read his Miranda Rights; he was not turned over to the armed forces for examining (Who gave him the money for the SUV; for the ticket; who instructed him the best ways to develop the bomb; etc.).
Does liberal reasoning, "If we only love and aid our proclaimed enemies, after that they will stop attempting to eliminate us", permit the entry of a realistic thought: With Iran being permitted to pursue its nuclear passions (result of inefficient, toothless diplomacy), is there no concern by the administration of just what the result would be of also a "unclean" bomb (simply radiation alone, no explosion) in that Times Square SUV?

Of passion is Mr. Shahzad's citizenship - reportedly he married an American female, Huma Mian, in 2008, after spending a decade in the United States as an international student, then acquiring an employment visa. Marriage to an American female seems to be a reasonably simple means for a prospective foreign terrorist to gain entry to the United States and establish himself, to travel abroad to establish contacts and training for a terrorist effort in the United States. There is evidently nothing that the United States could do to shield itself against such planned strikes (especially if the terrorist ideology welcomes suicidal bombing) - short of breaking "profiling" limitations: being dubious of and tracking suspicious individuals, their patterns of actions, birth beginnings, including spiritual affiliations - all substantially at odds with the present governing viewpoint of political accuracy.

The 3 times the U.S. has been fortunate shows 3 points to experts on world terrorism as well as to sensible Americans: 1) that the target of terrorist planners (Osama Bin Ladin, Al Qaeda, et al) is certainly the United States; 2) that there is no absence of eager self-sacrificing volunteer ideologues, even UNITED STATE residents; and 3) that they are not as well-trained as the their compatriots in Iraq and Afghanistan, thus human error - here-to-fore our good fortune. However, can we gamble indefinitely on good luck alone?
