You might well enjoy this coastline hotel if you're a bit of a hippy at heart and you love coastlines and excellent food, but you don't want commercialism and bling and could give up the luxury a little. It's a little much less sleek, a little extra harsh and prepared, but it is in an actually wonderful part of Jumeirah, within walking distance of a magnificent range of coffee shops and shops. And if you don't intend to leave the resort, you also have 13 restaurants on-site where to pick.

On the disadvantage, we don't believe this hotel should have to have 5 star, and it is overpriced of what it does provide compared to the beach resorts at the various other end of Jumeirah Road, which are ultraluxurious in comparison. It doesn't have fundamentals such as tea- and coffee-making facilities, or mineral water in the rooms, the basic spaces are tiny for Dubai sizes and none of the washrooms in the hotel has a walk-in shower. The beach right here isn't vast, yet it is quite. Besides the beach, the resort has two huge pool, a children's pool, a good gym, tennis courts and a medspa supplying a wide variety of therapies.

Bed rooms are available in an option of dimensions: typical, standard with terrace, junior suite, living room and executive suite. Provided in creams, modern yet not in-your-face modern, with white bedding, beige throws, beige seats, carpets and plants, all of it creates a risk-free, comfortable ambience.

An International buffet morning meal is served in Taverna ignoring the coastline - it's in fact open 24 Hr a day and serves cuisines culled from all over the world. Other dining establishments include Al Khayma, a cafe serving Arabic specializeds, juices and shisha; Capanna Nouva, offering Italian common fare; El Malecon, formulating Cuban cuisine; Flooka for Mediterranean fish and shellfish; and Yia for typical Greek.

You 'd have wondered why we had not included it if you would certainly stumbled across it, but at these prices we 'd probably recommend remaining elsewhere if you desire first-class beach resort luxury with all the trimmings.
