Dubai Land Department (DLD) has been awarded the Gold Category of the Global Artificial Intelligence Award 2025, recognising its leadership in applying artificial intelligence and digital innovation to transform the real estate sector and enhance service delivery.
The award, presented by Dubai Quality Group, acknowledges organisations demonstrating excellence in the practical adoption of AI across public and private sectors through measurable impact, innovation, and operational advancement.
The recognition highlights DLD’s ongoing efforts to integrate advanced technologies across its services and operations to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, service reliability, and data-driven decision-making while supporting the continued growth of Dubai’s real estate market.
The award was received by H.E. Omar Hamad BuShehab, Director General of Dubai Land Department, during the official awards ceremony held under the patronage and in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
The Global Artificial Intelligence Award is regarded as one of the leading platforms dedicated to recognising institutions that successfully leverage AI technologies to strengthen competitiveness, accelerate innovation, and support sustainable growth. Evaluation criteria are based on international benchmarks and global best practices in institutional excellence.
According to DLD, the achievement reflects the department’s broader strategy of embedding AI capabilities into government services to deliver faster, smarter, and more proactive experiences while improving transparency and responsiveness.
The department views artificial intelligence as a strategic driver that goes beyond automation, enabling the redesign of services and the creation of a more integrated and future-focused real estate ecosystem.
DLD continues to expand investments in smart platforms, advanced analytics, and digital infrastructure to support the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033.
These initiatives aim to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global benchmark for real estate innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and long-term sector competitiveness while contributing to the emirate’s broader economic growth objectives.
