Supreme Legislation Committees officials and employees renew their covenant to adopt positivity and happiness as part of its methodology, culture and lifestyle
Officials and employees of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) have reaffirmed their promise to support the national efforts directed towards the adoption of happiness in its operations, culture and lifestyle while also stressing on the importance of positive energy as an integral factor in the efforts to enhance job performance and making significant contributions in achieving goals and objectives set by the theme, 'Creating a distinct legal environment through leading legislation and efficient and logical legal viewpoints.' The statement came on the sidelines of the event of the 'International Day of Happiness', which falls in line with the SLC's continuing dedication to effectively contribute in the efforts to attain the goals set by the UAE's smart leadership-- making people happy and satisfied and ensuring the welfare of the community.
The pledge given by the SLC officials and staff members belonged to the activities held as part of the celebrations for International Day of Happiness. This was followed by the distribution of copies of 'National Charter for Happiness & Positivity', which was introduced by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as a first-of-its-kind effort that looks for to develop a happy environment for UAE society.
H.E. Ahmad Bin Meshar, Secretary General of the SLC, mentioned that the celebrations belonged to the SLC's move to develop an integrated work environment that honestly promotes the ideas of happiness, creativity and innovation and the ability to spread positive energy in the hearts of its staff members-- which are thought about to be key drivers to success, excellence and leadership. H.E. Bin Meshar pointed out that happiness, positivism and innovation represents the fundamental pillars of the SLC and also shows its continuing assistance for the sensible instructions of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in making the UAE as the happiest nation worldwide.
H.E. Bin Meshar, added: "The introducing of the 'National Charter for Happiness & Positivity' places a huge obligation on us which is to be able to take solid actions to providing the essential tools needed in developing positivism, excellence, productivity and the achievement of happiness, which is the UAE's wise management's supreme goal. Likewise, we are intensifying efforts to develop a totally efficient and reliable legal and governing system that will remain to promote the guideline of law and authenticity and to lay a solid foundation that reflects the objectives and goals embeded in Dubai Plan 2021-- making Dubai as the home of innovative and ingenious members that teem with pride and joy.".
Since it was established, the UAE has placed great attention in the efforts on developing its citizens as individuals who are responsible for its community and who are qualified to leave a positive impact in the continuous development process. In line with this, the 'National Charter for Happiness & Positivity' is the nation's strongest push to achieving the happiness of its citizens, expatriates and visitors and the health and wellbeing of the community as a whole. The SLC is committed to consist of joy in its list of tactical priorities and nationwide dedications, as well as allowing our workers to have the positive energy that might help them overcome challenges and seize chances that supports our vision, which is focused to establishing an incorporated legislative system that will contribute to the success of sustainable development strategies and press the march of progress, development and prosperity," concluded H.E. The celebration for the 'International Day of Happiness' consisted of a series of interactive sessions and distribution of presents to SLC workers, who revealed their gratitude for the General Secretary's continuing efforts to supply them with a helpful work environment that enables them to use their innovative capabilities and develop their capacity, which in turn, offers them happiness, fulfillment and the drive to attain higher levels of excellence.
