Canon Middle East (CME), a leader in imaging solutions, participated in Dubai Electricity and Water Authority's (DEWA's) community event at Business Bay Park to observe Earth Hour 2016. The event raised awareness about the impacts of climate change with family-oriented activities and a symbolic walk.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA stated, "We are pleased to arrange this event in collaboration with the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and the Emirates Wildlife Society (EWS), in association with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and in cooperation with Dubai Properties Group (DPG). This supports the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has actually set the foundations for a sustainable future for present and future generations through a vision, innovative efforts, and quality programs.
