Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed Meets EMEA Co-Head of Global Investment Firm KKR
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of the UAE, held a meeting with Tara Davies, Partner and Co-Head of KKR for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Co-Head of European Infrastructure. The meeting took place at Sheikh Maktoum’s office and highlighted the UAE’s commitment to fostering partnerships with global financial institutions.
During the discussion, Sheikh Maktoum emphasized the UAE’s dedication to providing a robust infrastructure, business-enabling services, and growth-oriented regulatory frameworks to support global financial firms. He noted that the UAE’s exceptional industry ecosystem positions the nation as an ideal hub for firms seeking to capitalize on growth opportunities and expand within the region.
Sheikh Maktoum reiterated Dubai’s commitment to public-private partnerships, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position the city as one of the world’s top four financial hubs by 2033.
The meeting was attended by prominent UAE officials, including:
- His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Finance.
- His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports.
- His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.
- His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
