A new trade bridge connecting Sharjah and Saudi Arabia has been launched, aiming to accelerate cargo movement and strengthen regional supply chains across the Gulf.

The initiative, introduced by the Saudi Ports Authority in partnership with Gulftainer, establishes a direct logistics corridor between Sharjah and Dammam, one of Saudi Arabia’s key commercial hubs.

Faster and more efficient cargo movement

The Sharjah–Dammam corridor is designed to streamline the flow of goods by integrating land and sea transport networks, enabling faster and more reliable cargo transfers.

Key features of the trade bridge include:
