SentinelOne Expands AI Security Capabilities to On-Premise and Air-Gapped Environments

SentinelOne has announced the expansion of its AI-powered security offerings to on-premise, sovereign, self-hosted, and air-gapped environments, enabling organizations to maintain full control over their data while leveraging advanced autonomous protection.

The new portfolio strengthens SentinelOne’s position as a next-generation cybersecurity provider by delivering endpoint protection without reliance on cloud infrastructure. The solutions ensure that all data processing occurs strictly within a customer’s own environment, addressing growing concerns around data privacy, sovereignty, and regulatory compliance.

Already deployed across millions of on-premise endpoints, the expanded offerings now extend protection to servers, private clouds, and data pipelines. This allows highly regulated industries, including government entities, financial institutions, and healthcare providers, to secure critical infrastructure, even in fully disconnected or air-gapped systems.

Commenting on the launch, Ana Pinczuk said the move addresses a long-standing challenge for organizations balancing AI adoption with strict data control requirements. She emphasized that delivering autonomous AI security directly within customer environments eliminates the need to compromise between innovation and privacy.

The expansion comes amid a broader shift in the global security landscape, where governments and regulated sectors are increasingly prioritizing data sovereignty. Rising geopolitical risks and the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence have accelerated the need for secure, self-contained systems that do not depend on external connectivity.

Building on its FedRAMP and GovRAMP-authorized capabilities, SentinelOne’s platform now enables organizations to standardize security across diverse infrastructures using a single lightweight agent. This approach allows telemetry data to be processed locally for threat detection and investigation, without transferring sensitive information to the cloud.

The company has also introduced enhanced protection for private and sovereign cloud environments, offering real-time security for servers, containers, and storage systems. The technology operates autonomously on-device, using multiple detection engines without requiring a persistent internet connection. Integration with enterprise storage solutions ensures that threats are identified and contained at the point of entry.

In addition, SentinelOne unveiled its Prompt Security On-Premise solution, designed to secure artificial intelligence applications in disconnected environments. The system detects unauthorized “shadow AI” usage, prevents prompt injection attacks, and safeguards sensitive data by acting as a dedicated firewall for AI tools, all while maintaining complete data sovereignty.

Further strengthening its offering, the company introduced a new AI Data Pipeline tailored for on-premise environments. The solution optimizes data flow through intelligent filtering, reduces alert fatigue, and enhances visibility by enriching telemetry, all without requiring external processing or cloud dependency.

With these advancements, SentinelOne enables organizations to meet stringent in-country data residency and regulatory requirements while maintaining the full capabilities of modern AI-driven cybersecurity platforms.
