Digital Dubai, Emirates Group sign partnership to expand digital services and AI adoption

Digital Dubai and the Emirates Group have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening Dubai's digital ecosystem by enabling the aviation group to leverage the emirate's advanced digital platforms, services and best practices to enhance operational efficiency, employee experience and digital readiness.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, and Amira Al Awadhi, Senior Vice President of Human Resources – Operations and Systems at the Emirates Group, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai.

The partnership enables the Emirates Group to access Digital Dubai's portfolio of digital services, enablement platforms, data and statistics services, while supporting greater systems integration, data exchange and wider adoption of shared digital platforms across the organisation.

According to the agreement, the collaboration is designed to create a more connected and agile digital environment while improving operational processes and strengthening the Group's digital capabilities.

His Excellency Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri said the agreement reflects Dubai's vision of building an integrated digital ecosystem through close collaboration between the public and private sectors.

He noted that expanding access to Digital Dubai's advanced digital platforms and technologies will help the Emirates Group enhance services, improve operational efficiency and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies.

Al Hemeiri added that the partnership supports Dubai's ambition to expand the use of shared government platforms, foster innovation and reinforce the emirate's position as a leading global hub for digital transformation and the digital economy.

Oliver Grohmann, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at the Emirates Group, said the collaboration will improve the employee experience by streamlining processes, enabling real-time data processing and reducing administrative complexity, allowing employees to focus on higher-value work.

He added that the partnership goes beyond improving convenience and operational efficiency, contributing to Dubai's broader vision of creating integrated digital foundations that enhance both the quality of life and the way businesses operate.

The agreement establishes a comprehensive framework for cooperation covering high-performance service delivery, advanced technical support, rapid response mechanisms and information security standards aligned with international best practices.

The initiative also supports Dubai's strategy of expanding the adoption of shared government digital platforms, strengthening integration between public and private sector entities, and building a more connected, sustainable and competitive digital economy.
