E&E Emirates and Core42 Partner to Launch Sovereign AI Computing Platform

E&E Emirates and Core42, a subsidiary of G42, have announced a strategic partnership to launch a sovereign AI computing service, providing government entities and enterprises with secure, on-demand access to GPU-powered AI infrastructure hosted within the UAE.

The collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence applications by combining Core42's sovereign AI cloud platform with E&E Emirates' national digital infrastructure, secure connectivity, and professional services. The initiative is designed to help organisations build, train, fine-tune, optimise, and deploy AI models while ensuring that sensitive data and critical workloads remain within the UAE.

The GPU-based sovereign AI platform is the first offering under a broader global partnership between the two companies. Future collaborations will focus on strengthening the resilience of critical AI services and enhancing the continuity and security of the UAE's national digital infrastructure.

The companies said the platform addresses key challenges faced by organisations adopting AI, including limited access to large-scale GPU infrastructure, long implementation timelines, and the high capital costs associated with building in-house AI environments. By providing AI infrastructure on demand, businesses can accelerate AI adoption without significant upfront investment.

Essam Mahmoud, Senior Vice President of SMEs at E&E Emirates, said the partnership provides government entities and businesses with a faster, more secure way to access sovereign GPU infrastructure while supporting the UAE's ambition to build an AI-driven economy. He added that the platform combines computing power, secure connectivity, local support, and AI infrastructure within a single operational framework.

The initiative aligns with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to integrate AI technologies across sectors including government services, healthcare, financial services, transportation, education, energy, retail, manufacturing, and digital infrastructure to improve efficiency, reduce bureaucracy, and support economic diversification.

Jafar Al Hashmi, Executive Vice President of Government and Market Development at Core42, said large-scale AI deployment requires secure, resilient, and compliant infrastructure. He noted that the partnership transforms sovereign AI from a foundational capability into a production-ready platform by integrating computing, connectivity, and operational services.

The sovereign AI platform also includes Core42 Delivery's specialised execution services, while E&E Emirates provides dedicated, high-capacity connectivity linking enterprise environments directly to the sovereign GPU infrastructure.

As part of the collaboration, E&E Emirates has also introduced GPU Connect, a new service that combines advanced GPU capabilities with premium connectivity to simplify AI deployment and deliver improved technical performance for customers.

The partnership also supports Core42's National Disaster Recovery Cloud (NDRC) initiative, a sovereign cloud infrastructure designed to ensure business continuity for governments, regulated industries, and critical national infrastructure during large-scale disruptions.
