Dtec partners with JetBrains to boost AI innovation among UAE startups
Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec), an initiative of Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), has partnered with software development company JetBrains to provide UAE startups with advanced developer tools and AI-focused resources.
The agreement, signed during Dtec's Agentic AI Innovators Forum in Dubai, gives eligible startups within the Dtec ecosystem access to JetBrains' Incubator and Accelerator Partner Program, which has supported more than 55,000 startups worldwide, including unicorns such as Bolt, Canva and Deel.
As part of the collaboration, selected startups will receive up to 10 complimentary commercial subscriptions to JetBrains' professional integrated development environments (IDEs) for six months, followed by a 50% discount for up to five years. The package also includes advanced AI tools designed to automate coding tasks, improve software quality and accelerate product development.
JetBrains will also organise specialised workshops and training sessions covering AI adoption, developer best practices and emerging software development trends to help founders maximise the use of its technologies.
Based in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dtec has supported the launch of more than 1,000 startups and the creation of over 4,000 jobs by providing entrepreneurs with access to infrastructure, mentorship, innovation programmes and global partnerships.
Hans Christensen, Vice President of Dtec, said the partnership strengthens the campus' mission to equip startups with world-class technology and expertise while supporting Dubai's ambition to become a global innovation hub under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Anastasia Zemskova, Vice President of Strategy at JetBrains, said the collaboration reflects the company's commitment to supporting the Middle East's growing startup ecosystem by giving founders access to advanced AI-powered development tools.
Nadia Rinsky, Head of GTM MENA at JetBrains, added that the partnership goes beyond software licensing by helping build local technical capability through knowledge sharing, workshops and practical guidance for startups scaling globally.
The initiative aims to strengthen the UAE's developer ecosystem by combining cutting-edge AI tools with technical expertise, supporting founders in building innovative, high-quality software solutions.
