Rotana expands footprint in GCC with the opening of Downtown Rotana in Bahrain

Rotana, among the leading hotel management business in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, today launched its latest property in Bahrain-- the luxury hotel Downtown Rotana, which was inaugurated by H.E. Zayed R. Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, in the existence of a variety of prestigious visitors.

Rising amidst the conventional backdrops of the Manama 'suq' and contemporary vistas of the Kingdom's central company and financial districts, this 26-storey property is the third in the Rotana Group's Bahrain-based portfolio and 42nd in GCC, and offers elegant, 249 high end rooms, complemented by a host of centers dealing with the growing needs of the contemporary company and leisure visitors seeming at the centre of commerce, culture and home entertainment.

Rotana has been a long-standing player in Bahrain's hospitality scenario and the launch of Downtown Rotana reaffirms this position.
