Orient Insurance has announced preliminary financial results for the year ended 31 December 2025, reporting strong growth in profit, premiums, and assets, driven by operational performance and market expansion. The insurer is a subsidiary of Al-Futtaim.

The company posted a net profit after tax of AED 836 million for 2025, marking a 14.4% increase compared with AED 731 million in 2024. Results show double-digit growth across most key financial indicators, reflecting solid underwriting performance and investment growth.

Key financial highlights for FY 2025

1. Gross Written Premium: AED 10.78 billion, up 19.3% year-on-year

2. Insurance Revenue: AED 9.23 billion, up 21.4%

3. Net Profit After Tax: AED 836 million, up 14.4%

4. Total Equity: AED 6.16 billion, up 18.3%

5. Total Assets: AED 17.27 billion, up 10.2%

6. Total Investments including bank balances: AED 11.99 billion, up 23.4%

Omer Elamin, President of Orient Insurance Group, said the results highlight the company’s strategic agility and consistent operational execution despite changing market conditions. He attributed the gains to disciplined risk management, performance focus, and continued investment in core capabilities.

The insurer said its 2025 performance was supported by ongoing initiatives in innovation, digital transformation, and customer-focused product development. It also emphasized that capital strength and liquidity levels remain solid, providing a base for further expansion and product enhancement.

Looking ahead, the company plans to deepen its use of data-driven tools, advanced technologies, and strategic partnerships to support sustainable and profitable growth while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
