NPCC wins British Safety Councils Sword of Honour for best performance in HSE management

National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a part of Senaat Abu Dhabi, has currently won the British Safety Councils Sword of Honour Award, a prestigious focus to only a handful of international organisations for the best standards in health, safety and environmental management. This is the second time NPCC is prevailing the Sword of Honour.

Mr. Nasser Mohamed Al-Deeni, VP-HSE & Quality of NPCC, received the award from British Safety Council officials at a gala event held in London recently.

NPCC was chosen for the honour following a rigorous assessment by an impartial adjudication panel for its excellence in managing risks to workers health and safety and to the environment. NPCC was among selected organizations from throughout the world, from a broad range of from a vast range of industry sectors which includes construction, education and training, energy generation, food and drink, leisure, logistics, manufacturing, retail and transport, received the Sword of Honour Award.

NPCC has a sincerely structured HSE policy that is often updated to comprise global best practices. NPCC's HSE Management System (HSE-MS) is an integrated machine based on local HSE guidelines and regulations, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ADNOC Group's Code of Practice. The HSE-MS is constant with NPCC's corporate values of placing people, HSE and client satisfaction as the highest priorities. All employees, customers, subcontractors and third-party entities are communicated about NPCC's HSE policy.

For its amazing HSE practices, NPCC has earlier won the RoSPA Gold Medal 2018, ADNOC HSE Awards, International Pipeline and Offshore Contractors Associations' Major Offshore Contractors Safety Award, ZADCO HSE Award, ADCO HSE Award, ADMA-OPCO HSE Award and Saudi Aramco HSE Award, amongst others.
